Our group will meet every other month on the last Thursday starting in January. The first pattern we'll be working on will be a pineapple quilt done with Thimbleberries and Kansas Trouble scraps. Don't have Thimbleberries or KT scraps? You can pick another colorway from your stash. How about blue and white or pink and black? We'll start with a cutting party and then work on the quilt for a few sessions. There will be several patterns for Pineapple Quilts for you to choose from - from basic to more involved. Start sorting your scraps into lights and darks and plan to join us on January 28th at 7 p.m. $5 per session
FAT QUARTERS ANONYMOUS
How many fat quarters do you have? More than 30? More than 100? 200? Sounds like you need to join Fat Quarters Anonymous! This group will work with patterns designed especially for fat quarters. The first night we'll start with a quick quilt that should be able to be finished in class. We'll select future fun and easy projects as we go so that you can begin to use up your Fat Quarter stash. FQA will meet on the opposite months from Scrap Basket Club - starting the last Thursday in February at 7 p.m. $5 per session
