We're glad to welcome you to our store. Located in York, Nebraska, just 3 miles north of the junction of Interstate 80 and Highway 81 at 718 Lincoln Avenue.

Don't miss our new QUILT BASKET GALLERY! Each month we will feature a different quilt artist's work in our gallery space. Come to the First Friday Opening Party, each month from 5 to 7 pm. Meet the artist, admire their work and share a glass of wine. If you can't make opening night, stop in and see our exhibit anytime during regular store hours.
We feature Bernina Sewing Machines and accessories. With a Bernina certified repairman on-site, we can offer you a quick turn around time. You'll have your machine back at home and humming again real soon.
Along with our selection of quilt fabric, we carry general sewing and embroidery supplies. DMC embroidery floss and Aunt Martha transfers. Everything you need for Machine embroidery is available here! Need a notion we don't have? We will place a "Special Order" for those hard to find things.
Check out our "What's New" page for a look at the new clubs and classes we're offering. The Back to Nature Quilt is offered as a Block of the Month. It is available in two colorways. Pick your favorite and sign up now by e-mail or phone. The blocks can be mailed or picked up at The Quilt Basket. Join our Basket Club and get 12 lessons plus a special discount the day of your class.
We are open Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 5:30, Thursdays until 7 and Saturday 9:30 to 3. If the weather is bad, check the local newscast and be careful. Please call 402-362-5737 to confirm if you have any concern about the weather.
